60th Birthday Commission

This home is near and dear to my heart. It belongs to my lovely aunt who lives in a smaller neighborhood outside of London. She kindly puts up with my Dad, sister and I whenever we visit, and lets us stay there in the midst of her busy work week. My cousins commissioned it for her 60th birthday present, and boy was it fun to draw!

Happy 2016!

Here's a couple pieces I finished right around the holidays. Happy 2016 everybody!
The white house is the third piece I've done for a wonderful gal. This is her grandparents' home!

It was fun to work on this unique house in Philly that has a side entrance instead of one in the front. Gotta love those bricks : )!

House in Germany!

This fun commission was for a gal who's parents reside in this beautiful home in Germany. I love getting a chance to work on portraits with the whole shebang of landscaping and scenery. I've been mixing more acrylic paint into my portraits along with the watercolor pigments to create a dimensional feel.

Commission for Matt F.

Simple row home drawn for resident of S. 19th Street in Philadelphia! Sometimes houses that have less going on in the front can be more relaxing to draw.

Ginger's house on Mildred Street

I absolutely love this home I finished a few weeks ago. I used to nanny on this street and the gal that commissioned the piece lived on the same block and had a wonderful family and home. She moved out of the city, but wanted to commemorate her time on the quaint little block with a portrait!

Fall/Winter 2014 Commissions

What can I say, I am so guilty of not keeping up with these posts regularly. But luckily, I still get to work on these portraits fairly regularly. Here are jobs from fall to winter of last year. As usual, lots of brick! I believe all of these properties are in the greater Philadelphia area. Until next time!
